This Sales position requires individuals that are professional, energetic and self-motivated. Previous experience and/or a background in computer hardware/software will be an asset. You must have excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, networking and cold-calling skills as well as excellent written and verbal communications. The person we need must also have organizational and follow-up skills. The Account Manager is a customer-facing role requiring the ability to interface effectively with Customers. The Account Manager will work with clients to analyze their business and will have the ability to sell relatively complex solutions leveraging a good understanding and knowledge of different Application Solution Sets meant to resolve their specific business needs.

- Creates opportunity based on change caused by customers' strategic plans.
- Employs effective need creation sales techniques to build and drive opportunities.
- Creates, and then qualifies opportunities.
- Works with Customer Marketing to measure value created and sell back into customer.
- Responsible for clean hand off to Delivery for their product area.

Junior Network Administrator
Avant Garde Technology Inc. is looking for a Junior Network Administrator in Edmonton. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from assisting with system design and implementation to network operations and support. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years experience working in a multi-site Microsoft networking environment, with a well rounded skill set that demonstrates proficiency in a variety of hardware and software disciplines (e.g. internetworking hardware, software, application support). Specialized in the implementation, design and support of Microsoft 200X/Active Directory environments, enterprise faxing, document archiving, Linux solutions would be considered valuable
This position requires an organized individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment with a minimum of supervision. The candidate will be detail-oriented and should possess excellent time management abilities. Candidates must also be prepared to work flexible hours and may perform after hours on-call duties to meet the requirements of the position. The candidate must also demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the English language for both verbal and written communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing support and assistance to team members

Skills and Abilities:
Computer/ technology related degree or certification
Minimum 2 years IT support experience
Advanced interpersonal and teamwork skills
Ability to maintain a level of composure when working in high pressure situations
Ability to remain positive when working through difficult and interesting challenges
Ability to multi-task and balance conflicting priorities
